The world’s largest recycler of EPS products wanted to brand a new packaging product that was specifically engineered to be good for the earth and good for business.
| Insight: Not all packing peanuts and molded EPS shipping containers are created equal. In fact, RAPAC had devised a product that was made from recycled material and was itself recyclable. | Action: From the plastic recycling designation #6, Walker developed the EcoSix brand to send a strong environmental message with a nod to industry terminology. | Results: EcoSix launched nationally through a coordinated sales, marketing, PR and trade effort. Demand has increased to the point where production capacity is being increased. |
