The Tennessee Higher Education Commission wants to help inspire at-risk kids to consider education after high school. They asked W+A identify motivators and craft messages that will fane the flame of that inspiration.
|Insight: A statewide study of 400 teens from low-income families showed they are highly motivated by the concept of college as a place that enhances their personal uniqueness. This even exceeded the promise of higher wages.||Action: W+A planned, focus group tested and implemented the Mind2It campaign centered around a dynamic website and an aggressive social media community building effort.||Results: So far, the campaign has interacted with 250,000+ Tennessee teens. The campaign was also awarded “best of show” by the Memphis chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.|
